Nubiola USA , based in Atlanta, GA was formed in 1996 as Delta Colours, with a purpose of providing a one stop shop of color solutions to the plastic, coating and construction industries. We are the appointed distributor for: Metaflake Pellex and Silvex Aluminum, LCP Helicone Special Effect Pigments, Tomatec CICP, SMI Minerals and Nubiola Inorganic Pigments. Nubiola USA sits upon 8 acres of land that houses our administration, 55,000 square feet of warehouse space, dry pigment blending and application laboratory.

Nubiola is a world leading producer of Ultramarine, Inorganic pigments and Anticorrosives. Founded in 1914, we are a 3rd generation family owned business headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, with plants located globally. Nubiola produces Ultramarine, Iron Oxide, Zinc Ferrite, Chrome Oxide Green, Chrome Yellow & Molybdate Orange and Nubirox Range of Anticorrosives.

NEW EMPLOYEES JOIN THE NUBIOLA USA TEAM

Please join us in welcoming to the Nubiola USA family: Brenda Mullins appointed as Technical Sales Manager in Coatings, Jake Reichard joining Technical Sales to the Construction market and Shawn Williams as Warehouse Supervisor. We at Nubiola are excited to have them on board, and look forward to continued success and meeting your needs in 2010!

Brenda Mullins joined Nubiola in January 2010, with 24 years experience in the Plastics and Colorants industries. Brenda has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and has held positions in sales, technology, sourcing, materials qualification, quality control and product development . She will be responsible for customer accounts in the southeastern United States as well as the Coatings Market nationally. Brenda recently gained membership to the SSCT Atlanta Chapter and is actively involved as a Divison Officer.

Jake Reichard joined Nubiola in November 2009. Jake graduated in June of 2009 from Ohio University with a BSc in Sports Sciences and a minor in Business Administration. Jake has spent the winters of 2007 and 2008 assisting in inside sales for Maroon Inc. and recently concluded a Professional Sales Training Program at Tri C College in Westlake, Ohio. Since joining Nubiola Jake has partaken in a broad product training program with keen focus on the construction market. His initial laboratory instruction has given him firsthand experience with Nubiola’s construction grade pigments and a basic understanding of the company’s blending capabilities. Jake looks forward to beginning his construction industry sales responsibilities in early 2010 and his enthusiastic positive outlook should provide a solid base for success.

Shawn Williams joined Nubiola in December 2009. Shawn takes pride in supervising the warehouse and maintaining it in a clean, organized and efficient facility. He is proactive with ensuring correct product and customer codes are reflected on labels. He also takes it personally to ensure goods are shipped in full on time. His friendly demeanour and willingness to be involved hands on, assists the customer service team in achieving our high customer satisfaction rating.

 

 

PCI MAGAZINE TO FEATURE NEW ECO-FRIENDLY DEVELOPMENTS IN NUBIROX

Look for our article in the JANUARY 2010 issue of Paint and Coatings Industry Magazine entitled: "New 'Eco-friendly' Universal Corrosion Inhibitors," which focuses on the development of our newest zinc free corrosion inhibitors. Dr. Steve Hodges, Nubirox Product Manager, co-authored this paper with our parent company in Barcelona and was presented at the European Coatings Show. NUBIROX FR-10 AND FR-20 PROTECTS WELD SEAMS

Nubirox FR-10 and FR-20 flash rust inhibitors offer a solution for one of the most problematic substrates for water-based coatings - weld seams. Both Nubirox FR-10 and FR-20 outperform other comparable "top-performing" flash rust inhibitors on weld seams, especially at the flux of the seam (as can be seen in the pictorial results below)!
